Friday 6/18 Saturday 6/19 Front Stage Back Stage Inside The Ponderosa What is the Rose City Round-Up? It's our third year... can you believe it?!?!? The Rose City Round-Up is a celebration of the hotrod lifestyle here in the Portland, OR. We are hoping that this years event will be larger and will continue to bring something special to the city of Portland. Each year of the show, we choose a charity to give proceeds to. This year, many of us in the Portland area have been effected by the struggling economy, so we have chosen the Oregon Food Bank as our benificiary.We invite you to join us in 2010, you won't be disappointed! This event brings a mix of Pre-1965 Cars, with great music, food, and vendors. This show should guarantee a great hotrod experience. This year we have some GREAT entertainment for you including the first year of the Flame Thrower Competition, and the second year of the Pin-Stripe Off,.With panels provided by Jeff Wolf Pinstriping. We have some great music lined up for you! Here is the list: Friday Night (21+): 7pm - 9pm -Flame Thrower Competition, Bands start at 9pm with the Texecutioners, Juke Joint Gamblers, and the Chop Tops. $10 or Free with pre-registration! Saturday Night (21 +): The Freakshow Deluxe Burlesque, Roy Kay Combo, James Hunnicutt, Johnny Mercury, and Big John Bates. DJ AM Gold will also be spinning records until we shut the place down. $10.00 If you would like to purchase a two day pass, they are available for $15.00. Car Show Saturday Day (All Ages, Beer Garden for 21+): Registration for Pre-Registered Cars is 9:30 a.m., or for Unregistered cars 10:00 a.m. Bands start at 11:00 a.m. and we have The Twangshifters, Idle Threats, Coin in the Coffin, Load Levelers, The Knotches, Black Rose Phantoms, The Henchmen. Free with suggested donation of 2 non-perishable items. Parking will be available for spectators for $5.00 per car at Jubitz. We are working on the band lineup for next year now, so if your interested send us a message and a sample of your music along with a link to your myspace or website. This show is to take place at the Jubitz Travel Center, in Portland, OR on June 18th snd 19th 2010! What Will the Show Cost Me? There is no charge for the public to view the car show, but a suggested donation of two non-perishable food items per person. Ample public parking is available around the event area. Bands will be playing all day outdoors for FREE. There are two night time shows that are 21+, and they will be featuring some of the best talent there is to offer. Cost for admission to these shows is $10 each or $15 for a two night pass. Pre-Registered Vehicles get FREE admission to Friday nights Show. Admission for those car show participants who pre-register online will get a discounted price, plus admission to the show on the 19th. We also ask that you bring two non-perishable food items per car. There is an added fee of $5.00 for vehicles that show up without the two non-perishable food item. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From 1-5 South: Take exit 307 then turn right onto M.L.K. Blvd. (99E South). Take the Marine Drive East exit (first exit on your right - it will loop around). Turn right onto N. Vancouver Way at first stop sign. We will be on your left about 3/4 of a mile up. From I-5 North: Take exit 307 then veer right towards Marine Drive East. Turn left at the first stop sign onto Marine Drive East. At the next stop sign, turn right onto N. Vancouver Way and continue for about 3/4 of a mile. We will be on your left. From the Airport: Take Airport Way East. Turn left onto 122nd Street. Turn left onto Marine Drive (first stop sign). Follow Marine Drive for 6-7 miles then turn left onto N. Vancouver Way. We will be on your left.
